In this way, members of free society interact with one another with a minimum of intrusions by easily avoidable stumbling blocks to civilized fellowship wrought by the disorder inherent in the otherwise ignorant, fallen, chaotic nature of fallen man. In the art and science of communications, we call such intrusions; or impediments to efficient communication, “communications noise.”

In 2020, America has generally acknowledged that the media (i.e. The Press and Social Media) has ceased to serve the best interests of society. Rather than adopt codify standards of electronic communication which buttress, enhance, and reinforce the natural-law legitimized manners essential to a necessarily socially efficient society, the Associated Press has instead chosen to codify and adopt standards of communicating which today result in communications noise. In other words, today’s Associated Press is designed not to enhance and serve the interests of civilized, free society, but rather to unduly interfere with truthful and beneficial communication in order to impede its progress. Electronic communications today thus hampers the American’s pursuit of happiness rather than helps it, for the commercial benefit of purveyors of mass communications technology.

Close to the heart of the Combined Electronic Communications Industry’s assault on the member of civilized society in the form of unnatural, man-made communications noise is its codification of standardized verbiage which erode, rather than bolster, the Constitutional and Faith Moral Standards which are critical pillars of civilized society, and upon which the successful Great American Enterprise is contingent and dependent. This codification and standardization of terminology which destroys, rather than edifies the individual’s harmonious pursuit of success within the American societal body and beyond, is nowhere more evident than in the “Associated Press Stylebook.”

Is The Associated Wisdom Stylebook Mandatory?

Are manners necessary?

The purpose of the Associated Wisdom Stylebook is to fulfill a need which might be said to streamline the efficiency of benevolent communicators – those seeking to help rather than hinder their intended audience, by recommending standards which, like all community standards, are self-evidently beneficial to all members of civilized society to adopt and adapt as best suits the individual benevolent communicator so as to result in a minimum of communications noise both at the level of the individual communicator level and thus, in the sum effect of benevolent, truth-telling communicators’ collectively toward the progress of civilized society as a whole.

In other words, if you as a pastor or other mass communicator desire for your ideas to achieve greater clarity, reach, efficacy, and harmony with other benevolent communicators, you will recognize the benefit to you in availing yourself of the continual fellowship, partnership, enterprise, utility and yes, wisdom, with which the Associated Wisdom Stylebook and organization edifies you perpetually in your quest to become an ever more perfect benevolent communicator.

What Is The Scope Of The Associated Wisdom Stylebook?

The ultimate goal of the Associated Wisdom Stylebook is to create a complete and comprehensive reference text for wise communicators within five years, however seminal versions of the Associated Wisdom Stylebook will mainly consist of propositions to correct the wayward course of the English language wrought by long-standing journalism industry special interest influences.

What Is The Underlying Epistemology Of The Associated Wisdom Stylebook?

Is The AW Stylebook Objective?

Yes, the AW Stylebook is infinitely more objective than any competing resource. Associated Wisdom can stake a claim to objectivity because Associated Wisdom acknowledges rather than ignores objective reality, while the self-interested nature of the journalism industry has traditionally maintained a thin veneer of objectivity while actually communicating in such a manner as to subvert authentic, naturally ordained moral structure to further its own profit motives which in turn hinder the well-being and pursuit of happiness of its audiences.

Because the Associated Wisdom Stylebook is motivated first and foremost by the purpose of profitability based on helping not only members, but their audiences, rather than helping members to take advantage of audiences, which is the evil, longstanding, journalism industry tradition.

In serving as benevolent communicators, member organizations, churches, pastors, and individuals share the common objective of helping their audiences, because we realize that the purpose of all communication is to cause some result among our audience, and we aim in crafting our messages to effect a good result rather than an evil one.

The “traditional news anchor” might take issue with what he considers bias in our desire to cause good and not evil through our messaging. After all, doesn’t Satan deserve a fair and unbalanced hearing with equal airtime as God? This is, of course, evil journalism industry thinking.

But of course, the Associated Wisdom member responds charitably to such notions that by any reasonable standards, good is definitively better than evil. Therefore, the chief objective goal of all good-ward, or God-ward journalists, is to desire to produce good rather than evil.

Objectively, the goal of Associated Wisdom is first and foremost to better facilitate good communication among those aspiring to communicate well, by bringing greater clarity and order to the discussion of wise communicators, thereby eliminating unnecessary noise which electronic media inevitably introduces, thus helping member communicators more efficiently pursue their desired good purposes, and thus be more effective in their well-doing.

This goal of helping our members be more effective as benevolent actors through communication stands in stark contrast to the dominant electronic media (including newspapers) industry’s “subjective” interests, which are really self-interest again thinly veiled by a veneer of “non-bias” and “objectivity,” which is deafeningly disingenuous and thus objectively evil.

What Is Style?

Style may be described as the surplus of raw human resource wherewithal as manifested, communications-wise, in the frivolity and benevolent excess of energy, artfulness, taste, gregariousness, and appropriateness of tone and humor. Style implicitly, or esoterically, is a factor in conveying the personality- and thus the effectuality-credibility of the communications source (e.g. the person speaking).

If style is benevolent excess, it is contingent upon good form. Good form is contingent upon acknowledging natural reality. A sentence cannot be well-structured and contain logical inaccuracies because such is a misdirected attempt to build good style upon a fractured foundation of bad form. Thus, style is built upon form, and form is built upon logic, which is a reflection or observation of natural, immutable, self-evident metaphysical law, like the Law of Gravity.

Thus, the terminology which assumes the accurate and objective observation of the natural law (i.e. reality) is essential to style, since style is contingent upon form, and form is contingent upon logic. This is why the verbiage used by benevolent communicators must be chosen carefully, and why this resource is the most practicable resource a contemporary benevolent communicator can have.

It is the aim of this Associated Wisdom Stylebook to serve as a reference to proper vocabulary and structure, which shall help its reader achieve greater clarity and confidence in his communicating, which will naturally result in the excess of acuity which shall manifest itself in what we elusively describe as “style.”

The average listener “knows it when he hears it.” We Associated Wisdom are the curators and creators of the very best style – and it starts with a solid observation of reality; organized in a strong epistemology; begetting the wherewithal for purposeful journalistic condensation into good logical form; which, as an intended yet serendipitous side-effect, begets smashing style.

TO BE CONTINUED…

This stylebook is a “STUB” in the process of being written.
